Living Byte Software is the maker of the famous ISDN communication software called RVS-COM. RVS-COM is one of the worldwide most sold ISDN application software for the Windows operating systems.
Since its introduction of RVS-COM for Windows more than 15 million software packages have been sold. RVS-COM is available in almost 20 languages including Japanese and Chinese. In 1996 after its introduction RVS-COM was awarded from the famous american BYTE magazin with the "Best of CeBIT 1996" award in the category communications products. In 1998 RVS-COM was awarded from Nikkei Business Publications with the "Business Impact Award" for the most innovative Software of the year in Japan.
RVS-COM is a complete communication software suite and includes applications for almost all ISDN applications:
One of the unique features of RVS-COM is its integrated Softmodem and Softfax technology. Even with an passive ISDN adapter or TA it is possible to send analog faxes to normal G3 fax machines and to establish analog data connections to analog modems. This is possible because RVS-COM includes high soficasted DSP algorithms to emulate analog fax and modem transmissions on the PC.
After creating the RVS-COM sucess story Living Byte Software is now introducing a brand new, powerful, intelligent and internet enabled measurement system - the Globalremote Sensorbox product line. The Living Byte engineers made use of all their experiences in software development to make the Globalremote Sensorboxes as powerful, feature rich and stable as possible and realised as many functions in software to minimize the hardware costs.
